Kazrog’s first product ever was the first Recabinet library. That library was an instant classic and remained a top library until it was recently remastered to give it even more longevity and to meet the needs of today’s players. In between the first library and present day, Kazrog added a lot of high quality cabs to the Recabinet family but it seems all but the remastered first edition has been pulled from the Kazrog website. Kazrog mastermind Shane McFee noted in his interview with us that there is no plan at this time to remaster any of the other Recabinet libraries. RIP Genzie 212 😦

The remastered 10 cabs are absolutely top notch and really provide a ton of versatility inside a fairly small bunch of cabs. It was remastered with today’s extremely high standards in mind and it does not disappoint. Kazrog removed a few of the files they were pretty sure no one was touching and then added more options to suit the demands of today’s players. They added depth, warmth, detail and length to the original Kazrog flagship and as a result, it’s now even better.

The offerings cut loose from the Kazrog products were some of the best out there but there must be reasoning behind the move. However if they are never to be seen again, those that own them are lucky to have grabbed them before they vanished.
