Redwirez has been around a long time it seems. I can recall buying their “Bigbox” years ago and I also recall how good they sounded first day out for me.

That quality has never changed and impulses don’t really age either. Year after year new stuff comes out and the Bigbox just keeps its big rear end smack in the mix of the top impulses on the market.

Redwirez has one impulse main pack. You get their entire collection in one pack for a very affordable price. Their one main offering is called (in bellowing voice w/reverb).. THE BIG BOX.. and it’s just that, one big library packed full of every cabinet you could imagine. Specifically 45 CABS, 14 mics and 9 mic positions, wow! Every cabinet is done with a ton of quality and care. The Bigbox has been on the must-own list of impulses for a good while and that’s due to the quality, detail and price.

These are very deep libraries with 550 impulses per cabinet. This gives the user literally endless options when searching for that perfect tone. Some people want a more simplified library with fewer options and choices whereas some folks prefer endless options. Redwirez libraries are for the latter. Extreme detail for a great price.

Redwirez also has a really great multi-cab loader called MIXIR with a metric ton of features, settings and ways to blend a whole bunch of cabs together. We plan to review it with all the other loaders on the market shortly for a quick guide. This loader is about to receive a huge update so stay tuned for that as well as more big news coming from Redwirez this year. Redwirez hasn’t been that active in the last while but, I am assured that they are very much still in the game with a lot of very cool new stuff on the way!!

The top seller is obviously the Bigbox. Instead we will go with variations of the top rated cabs as rated by Redwirez customers over time. They do offer single cab purchases that actually get cheaper the more you buy. Check out their pricing online but our recommendation is to buy the whole enchilada if you want the most for your money.
